Tony Sans – Palm Tree Music

Album review by Flip RoboYedo

I first heard the single “Adams and Crenshaw” about two weeks back.  When I first heard it I ran that shit back 5x’s and have since listened to it at least twice daily... fuh rill.  The beat by Plan is way too dope & Tony Sans' voice fits it perfect. I cant imagine anyone else could make it sound better. While his lyrics arent great, he manages to pull it off.  The second single “I know it all” is another solid beat by Plan and Tony Sans once again steps up to the plate and knocks it out.

The album is a strong first showing for Tony Sans. It's a welcomed relief to go through an album and not be bombarded by tough guy bravado, rims, bitches, & popping bottles.  You feel the hunger, the pain, & the hope in his music that we don't get out of a lot of music these days.  I look forward to hearing more music from this young cat.  There's a couple of tracks  you can skip over, but it's still a solid effort and worth a few listens.
